Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, and Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) are complex conditions with roots that extend beyond the mental, emotional, or physical realms. Often, energies from both present and past lives can trigger individuals to disconnect from their physical experiences, resulting in a fragmented sense of self and reality.
From the perspective of Spiritual Response Therapy (SRT), a person's spiritual bodies may carry programs or imprints related to mental disorders. These programs can manifest in various ways, influencing behavior, thought patterns, and emotional or mental states. For instance, one significant factor contributing to schizophrenia may be chemical imbalances in the brain. However, these imbalances often have deeper origins.
Major past life influences (such as feelings of doom, guilt, doubt in oneself or a higher power, and self-imposed limitations) can leave lingering energetic signatures in our spiritual bodies that disrupt mental equilibrium. Addressing these past life energies is often crucial for effective healing.
Moreover, exploring the impact of parallel lives or multiple souls can provide valuable insights into a person's current experience. For instance, SRT posits that one of the roots of Dissociative Identity Disorder may stem from the presence of multiple souls within a single individual. This phenomenon can lead to internal conflicts and confusion regarding identity, resulting in the development of distinct personalities as coping mechanisms. Individuals may carry unresolved programs related to their sense of self, which can manifest as fragmented identities.
SRT also emphasizes the importance of examining beliefs, perceptions, and judgments that can act as barriers to healing. These mental constructs often inhibit individuals from embracing transformation and accessing their full potential for healing and growth. By identifying and addressing these limiting beliefs, individuals and their family can cultivate a more open and receptive state, facilitating their journey toward wholeness and well-being.
